Game and SDK Developer – Javascript / Typescript (fulltime) Location Kiev

In this position you will be part of our existing development team and will work with creative and technical teams, you will be working on the development of a new SDK for our highly animated games. Also, you will be producing games, based on the use of the SDK once it’s ready. Furthermore, you will align with, and support external game- and assetdevelopment teams which are located in the Netherlands, Ukraine and Serbia. This role will suit a developer who is passionate, service minded, responsible and self-motivated, preferably with experience in the online gaming industry, web development or mobile UI/UX-space and preferably with affinity/experience in processing audio files improving the total game experience

YOUR MAIN FUNCTIONS:

  • Build, expand and maintain the proprietary Stakelogic SDK
  • Develop new innovative (2D/3D) game features
  • New game development based on our proprietary SDK, to be supported by all common browsers and devices
  • Process graphics, audio-sprites, particle- and spine animations and other assets, according to the specifications that are provided by game design teams
  • Maintain and support games that are built in the proprietary SDK
  • Support internal team as trusted advisor/expert of frontend development topics, mainly graphics and audio
  • Work closely, and align, with external international game development partners
  • Provide support for integrations of games into client platforms

 

DESIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • At least three years of experience with JavaScript and/or TypeScript;
  • Profound skills, experience and knowledge of frontend technologies, i.e. HTML5/JavaScript/CSS and extensive experience with various Design Patterns as well as PixiJS and/or Phaser;
  • Skills and experience with TypeScript, JSON, Webpack, Gulp and NPM
  • Knowledge of web communication protocols;
  • The skills to work as part of a team, you take ownership and can work independently and proactively;
  • Worked with tools like GIT, Jira, Confluence and Trello;
  • An eye for detail while also adopting a practical, flexible and hands-on approach towards your work;
  • The ability to adapt easily to organizational changes;
  • The skill to work well and effectively under pressure, to be pro-active when appropriate and you are experienced in dealing with small teams building strong working relationships;
  • Languages: fluent in English both verbally and in writing;
  • A reputation as a responsible and trustworthy person
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to communicate in international business matters;
  • Experience in the gaming industry and preferably the gambling industry
  • Bonus points for skills and knowledge of graphical software
