Primary Function
The Director of Corporate Planning at Stakelogic will play a crucial role in shaping the future direction and success of our organisation. The position will be a key member of the Corporate Planning team and report directly to the Chief Executive Officer (Stakelogic) and Managing Director of Corporate Planning Office in Japan. Additionally, you will collaborate closely with various teams within the organisation, including commercial, compliance, and people operations.
Essential Duties
- Develop and implement the company’s strategic planning process, ensuring alignment with our vision and goals.
- Conduct thorough market analysis and research to identify emerging trends and growth opportunities.
- Lead the development and execution of strategic initiatives, partnering with cross-functional teams to drive success.
- Evaluate and monitor the effectiveness of existing strategies and recommend improvements as needed.
- Provide insights and recommendations to senior leadership to enable informed decision-making and effective resource allocation.
- Monitor the industry and competitive landscape to identify potential threats and define risk-mitigation strategies.
- Collaborate with Finance and Operations to develop and manage budgets and financial forecasts for strategic initiatives.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with external partners and stakeholders to facilitate collaboration and strategic partnerships.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or a related field; MBA preferred.
- 8+ years of experience in strategic planning, business development, or a similar role.
- Proven track record leading strategic planning initiatives and driving organisational growth.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to think strategically and deliver innovative solutions.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to influence and collaborate at all levels.
- Exceptional leadership and team-management abilities, fostering a high-performance culture.
- Knowledge of Japanese (written and spoken) is considered a plus.
- Strong project-management skills with the ability to prioritise and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
