Junior Legal Counsel

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Legal Counsel to support our Legal team and international B2B activities within the iGaming industry. Reporting directly to the Director of Legal and Compliance Affairs, you will work closely with the Legal Lead – Contracting & Intellectual Property, as well as the Compliance team.

The role primarily focuses on providing administrative and substantive legal support across Stakelogic’s contracting and intellectual property activities. This includes intellectual property filings and portfolio administration, contract execution workflows, record-keeping, and supporting the preparation and maintenance of legal templates and playbooks.

This position is well suited to a junior legal professional who is eager to learn, organised, accurate, and reliable, with an interest in contract and intellectual property law and a desire to develop within an international iGaming technology environment.

Essential Duties

  • Provide administrative and substantive legal support to the Legal Department across contracting, corporate governance, and intellectual property matters.
  • Support the preparation and review of routine legal documentation, including licensing agreements, vendor agreements, NDAs, and other standard commercial agreements.
  • Maintain contract templates, standard clauses, playbooks, and contracting procedures under the guidance of the Legal Lead.
  • Support corporate governance and contract administration activities, including coordinating contract approvals, execution, and signature workflows.
  • Manage physical and electronic signatures using tools such as DocuSign and maintain accurate internal records and contract registers.
  • Assist with the implementation of tools and processes to improve and streamline legal administration.
  • Coordinate and support intellectual property administration, including trademark, copyright, and other relevant filings and registrations.
  • Maintain intellectual property portfolio records, monitor deadlines and renewals, and liaise with external advisers and the parent company’s Legal Department where required.
  • Provide general legal support, including legal research, document preparation and collation, correspondence management, record maintenance, and internal reporting.
  • Support ongoing Legal Department projects and other legal and administrative activities as required.
  • Support internal governance and corporate approval processes as directed by the Legal Lead and Director of Legal and Compliance Affairs.
  • Provide administrative support to the Compliance team where required.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Minimum Bachelor of Laws degree (LLB). An LLM or equivalent legal qualification is considered an advantage.
  • Some relevant practical legal experience, including internships or in-house experience, is considered an advantage.
  • Academic foundation in corporate, contract, commercial, and/or intellectual property law.
  • Understanding of or interest in licensing, technology, software, gaming, or the iGaming industry is considered an advantage.
  • Excellent written and spoken English with strong communication skills.
  • Strong organisational and administrative skills with excellent attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage deadlines, multiple priorities, and maintain accurate records.
  • Familiarity with contract execution and e-signature tools such as DocuSign is considered an advantage.
  • Proactive, reliable, and solution-oriented approach to work.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of an international, cross-functional team under active guidance.
  • Fluency in additional languages is considered an advantage due to the international nature of our operations.

Travel Requirements

Occasional travel may be required to attend industry events, legal or regulatory meetings, or visits to Stakelogic offices in Serbia or Malta.
