Localisation Specialist (QA)

We are looking for a Localisation Specialist (QA) who will primarily support localisation processes across multiple international markets, while also contributing to QA activities when required. This is a hybrid role, approximately 60% localization and 40% QA, ideal for someone with strong attention to linguistic detail and a solid QA background.

Key Responsibilities

Localisation (Primary Focus)

  • Maintain and support localisation processes for online casino games.
  • Extract and prepare string files from game builds.
  • Coordinate with external translation vendors.
  • Validate translations in context, including linguistic and functional checks.
  • Ensure proper implementation of localised content across web and mobile platforms.
  • Manage translation delivery timelines and quality standards.
  • Maintain glossaries, style guides, and localisation documentation.
  • Continuously improve localisation workflows.

Quality Assurance Responsibilities

  • Perform functional and regression testing of localised builds.
  • Verify correct UI text implementation across different markets.
  • Log, track, and verify defects using Jira.
  • Assist with release validation and certification-related checks.
  • Support the QA team during peak workload or major releases.

Main Skills

  • 2–3+ years of experience in localisation, QA, or linguistic QA.
  • Understanding of the software development lifecycle.
  • Experience testing web applications.
  • Experience in mobile game testing on iOS and Android.
  • Strong attention to detail, particularly regarding text, formatting, and UI alignment.
  • Experience working with logs, including reading and basic investigation.
  • Excellent written and spoken English.

Nice to Have

  • Experience in the gaming or iGaming industry.
  • Familiarity with certification requirements such as UKGC, DE, or NL.
  • Experience using Jira.
  • Additional European language skills.
