Manual QA Engineer
We are seeking a Manual QA Engineer to support the testing and quality assurance of our online casino games portfolio. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring our games meet functional, visual, technical, and regulatory requirements across desktop and mobile platforms.
This position requires a detail-oriented individual with strong QA knowledge, analytical skills, and the ability to work closely with game developers, designers, and other QA engineers to support high-quality game releases.
Essential Duties
- Perform detailed manual testing of casino games across desktop and mobile platforms.
- Validate game functionality, animations, UI/UX behaviour, and compliance with game specifications and regulatory requirements.
- Execute test cases, document bugs, and perform regression testing during game development and release cycles.
- Collaborate closely with game developers, designers, and other QA engineers to ensure high-quality releases.
- Review and interpret game rules, paytables, and mathematical models to validate expected outcomes.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements for multiple jurisdictions, including MGA, Ontario, Greece, and UKGC.
- Support certification testing and prepare necessary documentation for regulated markets.
- Identify and escalate potential risks or critical issues early in the development cycle.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Manual QA Engineer, preferably in the online gaming or casino industry.
- Solid understanding of QA methodologies, testing types, and game testing best practices.
- Experience with bug tracking tools such as Jira, TestRail, Mantis, or similar systems.
- Experience with test case management systems.
- Familiarity with game certification and regulatory testing requirements.
- Ability to read and interpret game specifications and mathematical documentation.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Knowledge of mobile and cross-browser testing.
- Experience testing RNG-based systems, basics of automation, or experience working with remote teams would be considered an asset.
- Professional working proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
Travel Requirements
Occasional travel may be required to attend industry events, regulatory meetings, or visits to Stakelogic offices.
