Java Back-end Developer

Stakelogic is looking for a Java Back-end Developer for remote work. We are actively developing a new high-load platform for launching casino games with streaming video solutions and real-time interactive features. You will join the server team, which is building this platform using a micro-service event-driven architecture.

Responsibilities

  • Implementing highly loaded Live Casino components from scratch using Java and related technologies.
  • Following engineering best practices (Code review, Unit Tests, TDD, etc.).
  • Participating in decisions about project architecture, tools, and improvements.
  • Analyzing and estimating new feature implementation efforts based on business requirements.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience with Java (currently using Java 17).
  • Experience with Spring.
  • Experience with Kafka.
  • Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Experience with Redis.
  • Experience with SQL.
  • Intermediate/Upper-Intermediate English proficiency.
  • Knowledge of commonly used algorithms, OOP, and design patterns.

Considered a Plus

  • Experience in the iGaming industry.
  • Experience with WebSockets, SSE.
  • Experience with ClickHouse.
  • Experience with Hibernate, PostgreSQL.
  • Experience with NGINX.
  • Experience with Bash scripting.
  • Experience with reactive programming (Spring Reactor).
  • Experience with Spock Framework.
  • Experience with Testcontainers.
