Middle Java Back-End Developer (Live Casino Project)

Stakelogic is looking for a Java Back-end Developer for remote work. We are actively developing a high-load platform to launch casino games with streaming video solutions and real-time interactive features. We are seeking a developer to join our server team, which is building the platform using a micro-service, event-driven architecture.

Position Objectives

  • Implement highly loaded Live Casino components from scratch using Java and related technologies.
  • Follow engineering best practices (Code reviews, Unit Tests, TDD, etc.).
  • Participate in the decision-making process regarding project architecture, tools, and improvements.
  • Analyze and estimate the effort required to implement new features based on business requirements.

What We Are Looking For

  • 3+ years of experience with Java (Java 17).
  • Experience with Spring.
  • Experience with Kafka.
  • Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Experience with Redis.
  • Experience with SQL.
  • Intermediate/Upper-Intermediate level of English.
  • Knowledge of commonly used algorithms, OOP, and design patterns.

Considered a Plus

  • Experience in the iGaming industry.
  • Experience with WebSockets, SSE.
  • Experience with ClickHouse.
  • Experience with Hibernate and PostgreSQL.
  • Experience with NGINX.
  • Experience with Bash scripting.
  • Experience with reactive programming (Spring Reactor).
  • Experience with Spock Framework.
  • Experience with Testcontainers.
