Senior Tax Manager
The Senior Tax Manager will serve as the Company’s lead in-house tax resource, reporting directly to the Chief Financial Officer or a person appointed by the CFO. The role is responsible for identifying, planning, developing, and executing global strategic tax initiatives that support the Company’s operations and financial performance, working with external tax advisers where appropriate.
The Senior Tax Manager will be directly responsible for preparing quarterly tax provisions and transfer pricing calculations, while overseeing outsourced tax activities including the annual tax provision, US federal and state tax returns, foreign tax returns, and transfer pricing reports. The role will work closely with members of the Finance and Operations teams across the business.
Essential Duties
- Prepare quarterly tax provision calculations in accordance with US GAAP and/or IFRS standards.
- Oversee external tax advisers and their responsibilities, including the annual tax provision, US federal and state tax returns, foreign tax returns, and transfer pricing reports.
- Act as the primary point of contact for all internal and external tax-related matters.
- Identify and execute opportunities to optimise the Company’s tax strategy and improve existing tax processes.
- Actively participate in business planning to ensure relevant tax considerations are appropriately addressed.
- Communicate with statutory auditors on tax matters to ensure accurate information is reflected in financial statements.
- Manage Group tax audits.
- Monitor relevant developments in US and international tax policies and legislation.
- Develop and implement process improvements through the effective use of technology.
- Present tax issues, recommendations, and solutions to management in a clear and concise manner.
- Ensure the Group’s Transfer Pricing principles are clearly defined, followed, and supported by up-to-date documentation.
- Assist with the preparation and review of domestic sales and use tax, property tax, and international VAT filings.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Law, Tax Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum 8 years of experience within Finance and Accounting, with a focus on tax strategy development for international businesses.
- Strong knowledge of direct and indirect taxation and international tax matters.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Experience with other technology tools and/or tax provision and compliance software is considered an advantage.

Travel Requirements
Occasional travel may be required for industry events, provider meetings, or cross-market collaboration. Estimated travel is up to 10%.
