What was the inspiration behind the theme of ‘Piggy Town’, and how does it reflect in the game design?
James Jelliffe: ‘Piggy Town’ is inspired by the playful and lighthearted concept of a town filled with quirky racing pig characters. We aimed to create a fun, vibrant world that players can enjoy looking at, with each character and building contributing to the overall theme of a bustling community.
The Wilds feature in ‘Piggy Town’ seems quite unique. Can you explain how the Additive and Multiplicative Wilds work?
JJ: Sure! In ‘Piggy Town’, when a Multiplicative or Additive Wild lands on any reel, the first thing that happens is the ways win is awarded. After that, the Window position above that reel is unlocked, and a re-spin is triggered. If the Window is already unlocked during the re-spin, the Additive or Multiplicative Wild is applied to the value above. Additive Wilds add +1 to the Wild amount, while Multiplicative Wilds double it by multiplying the Wild amount by 2. This creates a dynamic and rewarding gameplay experience.
The Free Spins feature is another exciting aspect of ‘Piggy Town’. How does it function, and what can players expect?
JJ: In ‘Piggy Town’, landing 3 or more Bonus symbols triggers the Free Spins feature, where players can be awarded up to 30 Free Spins. Initially, all four Windows at the top are closed. During the Free Spins, Regular, Additive, and Multiplicative Wilds can open these Windows and increase the Multiplier Wilds within them. Unlike the Base Game, during the Free Spins these Multiplier Wilds are progressive, meaning they can grow throughout the Free Spins, significantly boosting potential winnings.
What happens if players manage to re-trigger the Free Spins or encounter the Super Bonus symbol?
JJ: If players land 3 or more Bonus symbols during the Free Spins, they can re-trigger the feature, adding even more Free Spins to their game. Additionally, there’s a Super Bonus symbol that can only land on the 6th reel in the base game. When triggered, it activates the Super Free Spins mode, where only Additive and Multiplicative Wilds are available, increasing the chances for substantial wins. It’s a thrilling addition to the game.
