Senior 2D Animator
Stakelogic is looking for a Senior 2D Animator to join our talented Art team. In this role, you’ll work closely with our Art Directors to ensure each project’s artistic vision is delivered on time and to the highest quality. You’ll also contribute directly to the creation of 2D assets where needed, playing a key role in bringing our games to life.
As part of our international team, English is used as the common working language.
Responsibilities
- Create 2D character animations and prop animations for games.
- Develop game transitions, gameplay flows, and particle effects using Spine Animator and Adobe Animate.
- Collaborate with the team to ensure animations align with the project’s vision.
- Use anatomy and movement knowledge for detailed character animations.
- Modify animations based on feedback from team and stakeholders.
- Stay updated on industry trends and new animation techniques.
- Understand and communicate technical and artistic constraints.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of industry experience, with at least 5 years in animation.
- Proficient in Spine and Adobe Animate; good knowledge of Adobe Photoshop.
- Unity knowledge is a plus.
- Strong understanding of animation principles.
- Ability to plan, organize, and prioritize work.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Proactive attitude and self-starter mentality.
- Fluent in English.
- Good artistic skills.
- Experience in the gaming industry is advantageous.
- Understanding and experience in 3D animation is a plus.
