Technical Compliance Officer

In your role as Technical Compliance Officer, you will be responsible for ensuring that all gaming software, platforms, and operations adhere to the regulatory and technical standards set by the various jurisdictions. Your role involves working closely with development teams, regulatory bodies, and external auditors to guarantee that all technical aspects of the gaming products comply with the applicable laws and regulations.

Position Objectives

  • Stay updated on the latest technical compliance requirements and regulations in the iGaming industry across multiple jurisdictions.
  • Interpret and communicate regulatory requirements to relevant internal teams, ensuring that all technical developments and deployments comply with these requirements.
  • Monitor changes in regulations and update internal processes and systems accordingly.
  • Provide guidance and support to the development team regarding technical compliance aspects during the software development lifecycle.
  • Coordinate technical audits with third-party auditors and certification bodies to obtain and maintain required licenses and certifications.
  • Prepare and maintain documentation required for technical audits and regulatory submissions.
  • Identify and assess potential compliance risks related to technical aspects of gaming products and platforms.
  • Implement mitigation strategies to reduce compliance risks, ensuring that all technical operations are secure and compliant.
  • Develop and maintain internal technical compliance policies and procedures.
  • Ensure timely submission of all necessary reports, audits, and compliance documentation to regulatory bodies.

What We Are Looking For

  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
  • 3-5+ years of experience in a technical compliance role, preferably within the iGaming industry.
  • In-depth knowledge of iGaming regulations, technical standards, and compliance requirements across various jurisdictions.
  • Understanding of software development processes and IT infrastructure.
  • Experience with regulatory compliance tools and software.
  • Certifications in compliance or related fields.
  • Familiarity with ISO, PCI DSS, GDPR, and other relevant standards.
